Power was out for thousands of residential and business properties in the city of Manitowoc for roughly three hours late yesterday afternoon (July 19th).
According to Manitowoc Public Utilities, outages occurred on the east and south sides of the community about 3:30 PM, and service wasn’t restored until shortly after 6:00 last evening.
No word yet this morning from MPU explaining what caused the power outage or the number of customers affected.
