One unidentified NFC personnel executive says he thinks Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to “pull a Tom Brady”, meaning go somewhere else – maybe next season – and win a championship in another city.
Brady did it after an honor-filled career with the Patriots when he moved to Tampa Bay and won last season’s Super Bowl with the Buccaneers.
FanSided columnist Matt Lombardo quotes the official as saying he expects Rodgers to show up on time for training camp and play a final season in Green Bay.
That exec says that’s why Rodgers turned down the big extension he was offered by Packers officials.
