The Manitowoc Bandits rallied from a 2-run deficit in the 8th inning to defeat the host Casco A’s 5-3 Friday night (July 223rd).
The win allowed Coach Chris Cisler’s ballclub to wrap up a 3rd straight unbeaten regular season.
The Bandits tied it at 3 in the top of the 8th before plating two more in the 9th for the road victory.
A.J. Dollinger hammered a solo homer in the 5th inning and Jake Jeanquart not only pitched a complete game, but also delivered the 2-run single to win the game. Jeanquart had thrown 9-innings last Tuesday as well.
The Bandits are now off until Wednesday, August 4th when they’ll open Shoreland League playoff action against a yet to be determined opponent, or the winner of the #4 vs.7 seed.
