A Milwaukee man who killed his two-year-old daughter in Minnesota and her mother in Wisconsin will spend the rest of his life in prison.
37-year-old Dariaz Higgins was sentenced Monday for the March 2019 shooting death of 24-year-old Sierra Robinson and the wounding of her friend.
The Milwaukee County judge called Higgins “deplorable” at his sentencing.
Authorities said Higgins also killed two-year-old Noleani Robinson in an Austin, Minnesota motel and then dumped her body in a Steele County roadside ditch.
Higgins is still facing charges for his daughter’s death in southeastern Minnesota.
