Manitowoc Post-88 will be one of the 8-teams vying for the title beginning today at the Wisconsin Triple-A American Legion Baseball Tournament at Memorial Field in Plover.
The double-elimination event has 4-games on the opening day schedule.
Oshkosh faces La Crosse starting at 10:00 this morning, then Manitowoc takes the field against Superior at 1:00 PM.
Game-3 pits De Pere vs. Stevens Point at 4:00, and tonight at 8:00 Racine takes on tournament host, Plover.
The state legion tourney is scheduled to continue through Saturday with the winner advancing to the National Regional in Sioux Falls, South Dakota next week.
