They’ve spent a lot of money and won an N-B-A Championship. Don’t expect the Milwaukee Bucks to be very active at all during free agency this offseason.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are going to be paid more than $106 million next year.
The Bucks will likely end up paying penalties for the league by the time guaranteed salaries for Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo and Pat Connaughton are covered.
The reality is Milwaukee figures to lose one or more free agents – like Bobby Portis or Bryn Forbes.
Veteran P-J Tucker will be easier to retain because his age will prevent a long-term offer from other teams.
