Just as crews managed to restore power to thousands of customers in northern Wisconsin, strong storms swept through the area again.
Reports indicate trees and power lines were down in Antigo Tuesday and there was debris in the street.
Langlade County Emergency Management spent Wednesday urging people to get ready for storms that could leave even more electric customers in the dark by extending the power outages.
Wisconsin Public Service workers have encountered broken utility poles, downed power lines, and trees that had fallen onto electrical equipment.
Help has been brought in from outside and there’s more work to do today (July 29th).
Winds topped 70 miles an hour earlier this week.
