Bail is set at $500 cash for a 50-year-old woman after fleeing police when pulled over for speeding. Yolonda Logan is charged with Fleeing An Officer and Resisting Arrest.
Logan was stopped in the 200 block of Maritime Drive Monday (yesterday) afternoon telling the officer that she had paperwork to drop off at her lawyer’s office and was in a hurry. Logan then fled eventually calling authorities saying she was parked in front of the Police Department originally refusing a command to exit her vehicle-eventually doing so once the Officer drew his Taser.
Logan later admitted to her crime saying “I need to pay the price for driving away from an officer.” She did not provide an address to the court and remains in the County Jail with her initial appearance scheduled for August 9th at 1:30 PM.
