In Women’s College Basketball last night, Milwaukee snuck past the Wiscosnin Badgers, 67-64. The Panthers win makes 8 in a row, and improves their record to 8-2, while the UW dropped to 7-6.
In High School Girls ball, there was a full slate of Big East Conference action. Manitowoc Lutheran crushed Reedsville, 79-28, Mishicot edged Kohler 50-45, Oostburg beat Cedar Grove-Belgium, 59-40, Ozaukee handled Hilbert 72-43, Random Lake had not rouble with Sheboygan Lutheran, winning 55-32, and St. Mary Catholic came out on top against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 59-48. In the lone EWC matchup, Sheboygan Falls topped New Holstein 75-51. North Eastern Conference action saw Wrightston beat Denmark 68-50. In non-conference action, Pheshtigo eeked one out over Algoma, 55-52.
In the only boys game last night, Pulaski edged Ashwaubenon 49-43 in an FRCC matchup.
