Edward Baroun, age 83, formerly of the town of Franklin, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 19, 2021, at Azura Memory Care in Manitowoc surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was born on October 9, 1937 in Manitowoc, son of the late Harry and Elsie (Fritsch) Baroun. He attended school in Valders. On September 20, 1958 Ed married the former Bonnie M. Rebarchek in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2013. Ed worked for Mirro Company for 44 years retiring in 1999. He was a founding member of the Taus Ball Club and coached Little League for many years. Ed was a former member of the Inland Snowblazers. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and an occasional trip to the casino. Prior to Bonnie’s death the couple love to travel, following her passing Ed learned to enjoy gardening, cooking and baking.
Ed is survived by his three children: Roger (Lynn) Baroun, Taus, Scott Baroun, Manitowoc, Mike (Shirley) Baroun, Whitelaw; seven grandchildren: Kyle (Dawn) Baroun, Kory Baroun and Kasey Laridaen, Amanda Baroun and David Yang, Adam (Amber) Baroun, Stephanie Baroun and her fiancé Devin Earl, Brittney Baroun, Beau Baroun and fiancée Karissa Loose; one step great-grandson: Gavyn; eight great-grandchildren: Lexie, Kylie, Bradley, Aidyn, Baylee, Jaxon, Grayson, Aubree Baroun; two great-grandchildren due in the next couple of months; one sister: Elaine Schamburek, Taus; one brother-in-law: Frank Rebarchek Jr., Oshkosh; three sisters-in-law: Arlene Strouf, De Pere, Janice Brachmann, De Pere, Sharon Carrier, Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Elsie Baroun; his wife: Bonnie Baroun; one sister and brother-in-law: Marion (Norman) Frank; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Robert Schamburek Jr., Richard (Bonnie) Rebarchek, Denver Strouf, Elaine (Robert) Haas, Raymond Brachmann, Ronald Carrier, LuAnn Kolarik and Ken Baeckman; and his special furry friend: Bear.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Kellnersville. Deacon Dan Gray will officiate with entombment at a later date at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM.
