Annette G. Boeder, age 57, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
Annette was born on August 19, 1964 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Delores Hoefner Boeder. Annette was a graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School with the class of 1982 and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Center in Manitowoc for one year followed by two years at the Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland. Annette was employed for 30 years at the Salvation Army Child Care Center along with working with other local day care centers and Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church nursery. Annette was a lifelong member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. She played volleyball for 20 years in various local leagues, enjoyed walking, reading and doing search-a-word puzzles.
She is survived by three brothers, Allan (Lee) Boeder, Manitowoc, Kevan Boeder, Middle Inlet, and Kurt (Amy) Boeder, Springfield, IL; nieces, nephews, and great friends that she considered as “sisters”, Debbie Huebner, Kathy Rosera, Lori Knipp, Joni Shavlik, Lynn Lindemann, and Kari Tanaka and all of their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Delores Boeder, and Kevan’s partner, Drew Nesbitt.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Kujawski and Rev. Stephen Melso. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
