A 55-year-old Sheboygan woman is dead from injuries sustained in what authorities say is an accidental shooting.
Personnel from both Sheboygan Police and Fire Departments responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Greenfield Avenue in Sheboygan for a report of a person in crisis. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she passed away.
No one is in custody at this time as the shooting remains under investigation. An autopsy is planned for Friday and authorities believe there is no danger to the community.
