Holy Family Memorial in association with Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin announced that they are offering third doses of COVID-19 vaccines to immunocompromised individuals.
The Centers For Disease Control recommends receiving the third dose if you have been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancer of the blood, received an organ transplant within the last two years to suppress the immune system, received a stem cell transplant within the last two years, experiencing moderate or severe immunodeficiency, have an advanced or untreated HIV infection or are undergoing active treatment with high dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress your immune system.
The vaccine is free of charge and appointments are required which can be made by calling 920-320-3233.
