First District State Senator Andre Jacque of De Pere–who represents Two Rivers, Mishicot, and Northern Manitowoc County in his constituency–is listed in stable condition at an undisclosed hospital after developing pneumonia when he tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month.
His spokesman Matt Tompach says the local legislator was hospitalized August 16th and placed on a ventilator Monday night. He says “the days and weeks ahead will continue to be an incredibly stressful and difficult time for his family.”
