Bail is set at $500 cash for a 31-year-old Manitowoc woman found passed out in a County Courthouse bathroom Monday afternoon.
Kayla D. Klein is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping. EMS Personnel were called and according to police a “drug kit” was found nearby which contained unused needles, a scale, numerous pipes, a blow torch, and other forms of drug paraphernalia.
Klein was taken to Aurora Medical Center for treatment. When questioned by officers she invoked her Fifth Amendment Right to remain silent and was taken into custody.
Conditions of bail are that Klein maintains absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol and not possess any form of drug paraphernalia. She remains in the County Jail with her initial appearance scheduled for September 7th at 2:30.
