In Girls Tennis, Bay Port toppled Manitowoc Lincoln 5-2.
The Ships posted wins at #1 singles from Olivia Minikel and the top doubles tandem of McKenna Pleus and Hannah Dvorak.
Coach Stephanie Henschel indicated Pleus and Dvorak trailed 5-2 before rallying to win the next 5-games and take the 3rd set 7-5.
Minikel, by the way, remains undefeated after defeating her Pirates’ opponent 6-1, 6-2.
Meanwhile, Howards Grove bested Roncalli 5-2.
Winning matches for the Jets were Madison Lamers at #1 Singles 6-1, 6-2 and the ‘1 doubles team of Erin Schermetzler and Ashlyn Dellemann, 6-love, 6-1.
