Last night’s Manitowoc Lincoln-Notre Dame Academy Girls Varsity Volleyball Match at JFK Fieldhouse had to be postponed due to potential exposure to COVID-19.
According to Manitowoc School District Superintendent Mark Holzman, the potential exposure concerned some LHS volleyball team members at a non-district function.
Both schools are working on rescheduling the match at a later date.
Holzman stated the MPSD asks that all students and staff stay home when ill and get vaccinated, if eligible.
Vaccinated students who are close contacts to an individual who tests positive for COVID-19 do not need to quarantine and can return to school if they are symptom-free.
There was an EWC matchup played yesterday, as Two Rivers earned a 3-game sweep of New Holstein.
