Valders runners swept both the Boys and Girls divisions of the Reedsville Panther Cross-Country Invite yesterday afternoon (September 30th).
The Vikings’ Shane Griepentrog and Clay Taylor were 1st and 2nd respectively, followed by Brillion’s Alex Metko.
Meanwhile, Hannah Welch and Elizabeth Backus were also 1-2 for Valders in the Girls Run.
Reedsville was 3rd, led by Grace Rezba’s 7th place finish.
In the Small School Division, the Manitowoc Lutheran Boys captured 1st, led by 3rd place finisher Jacob Kanzenbach in a time of 18:04.
Coach Abbey Bubolz explained the Lancer Girls and Boys won the combined team award for the lowest point total.
Emma Kolar ran a 23:02 for the Lancers.
Roncalli runners also competed at Reedsville, with the boys placing 8th and the girls 9th.
Ryan Jacoby was 8th and Libby Schmidt wound up 18th overall to lead the Jets.
