Manitowoc Police in cooperation with Crime Stoppers are asking for information leading to the arrest of a person (s) responsible for a Reckless Endangerment in a shooting incident last evening (Monday) on the city’s southside.
An investigation confirms one of the suspects has been identified as Devontae L. Walker who resides in the 1500 block of Clark Street in Manitowoc while a second suspect who has not been identified at this time remains on the loose. Authorities say the incident occurred about 6:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of South 20th Street where Walker intentionally discharged a firearm multiple times from a vehicle at his intended victim based on a prior conflict.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, wasn’t injured but projectiles did strike property in that area causing damage.
A search warrant was executed at Walker’s address early this morning where items of evidentiary value were located that directly relate to the crime scene.
