Valders swept both the boys and girls portions of the Eastern Wisconsin Conference Cross Country Meet Saturday at New Holstein.
The Vikings won the girl’s division with 35 points, compared to 41 for runner-up Kiel and 3rd place Two Rivers.
Anna Gallagher of TR was meet medalist in 19-minutes 32 seconds, Hannah Welch of Valders was 2nd in 19:51.
In the Boys race, the Vikings edged Two Rivers 41-to-49 with Brillion 3rd.
Shane Griepentrog continues to be a trailblazer, winning the individual title in 15:45 while Valders teammate Clay Taylor was 2nd.
Pierce Arenz of Kiel was 3rd and Zach Fries of Two Rivers placed 6th. Next up is the Division-3 Sectional this Saturday at Meadow Links Golf Course.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lutheran finished 5th and 8th, respectively in the girls and boys race Saturday at the Big East Conference Cross Country Meet at Sheboygan Lutheran.
Leading all Lancers’ runners was Brooklyn Luebke who captured her 3rd consecutive conference crown in 19-minutes, 36-seconds.
Shawn Egerer topped the Lutheran boys placing 24th overall.
