A 54-year-old Manitowoc man is free on a $650 signature bond after allegedly throwing a dresser drawer at his girlfriend’s head during an argument.
Christopher Kopidlansky is charged with Disorderly Conduct and Battery each with Domestic Violence Enhancers.
Officers were sent to the Kwik Trip on north eighth street Wednesday night to meet a woman who told them that during the verbal altercation with Kopidlansky he told her to leave his house.
The victim said that as she began packing her belongings he threw a dresser drawer at her, striking her in the head.
Kopidlansky denied it but his girlfriend reiterated her story and he was taken into custody. Injuries, if any, did not require medical attention. The lone condition of bail is that Kopidlansky has no abusive contact with the victim and he’s due back in court for an initial appearance on November 18th at 10:30 a.m.
