Harley F. Groelle, 88, Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation surrounded by his family.
Harley was born on June 10, 1933, in Manitowoc, son of the late Elmer and Helena (Maas) Groelle. Harley attended Mishicot Schools. Harley worked in the construction and remodeling field, as well as drove semi. He also enjoyed doing handywork, driving stock cars, and was a socialite with a beer.
Survivors include six children: Barbara (Bob) Pokorsky, Gary (Diane) Groelle, Todd Groelle and Special Friend Terrie Bennett, Dean (Paula) Groelle, Harley (Jill) Groelle, and Kay (Kevin) Staudinger; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Harley was preceded in death by his parents; grandson: Zachary, and one brother and sister-in-law: Reinard (Elaine) Groelle.
A memorial service to celebrate Harley’s life will be held at 11am, on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with Deacon Al Boeldt officiating. Burial of the Cremains will be at Kossuth Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the funeral home from 9:30am until the time of service at 11am.
