Collene Rose Anderson, age 69, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on the morning of Friday, November 5, 2021 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She succumbed to stage four liver disease after dealing with it for years.
Collene was born on August 17, 1952 in Richland Center, Wisconsin and graduated from Ithaca High School in Ithaca, WI. She met Paul Reilly, the love of her life, in Richland Center and they spent 47 wonderful years together. Paul and Collene moved around a bit because of job changes and ended up in Manitowoc in 1992. Collene decided to go back to school to obtain a degree in Child Care at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, WI. She then worked for the Salvation Army Day Care from 1993 to 2008 when she retired. Collene enjoyed family and friends, music, flowers, fine dining, walking in the neighborhood, hiking in Wisconsin parks, boating on all sorts of lakes and traveling the world. Collene didn’t complete her whole list of places to go in the world but she put a pretty good dent in the list.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Reilly, two brothers and three sisters, William (Karin) Anderson, Kathryn Anderson, Gary Anderson (Tamerlie Tisdell), Renee Anderson (Dan Berkes), and Jenifer (Mark) Laue, one nephew and three nieces, Nick Cardin, Jessica Laue, Valerie Laue and Josie Laue.
