Randolph P. Rosenbauer, age 89, a longtime resident of Pigeon Lake, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence.
Randy was born on April 30, 1932 in Osman to the late Werner and Martha (Wolfram) Rosenbauer. He graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1950. Randy worked as a HVAC sales representative for Kerscher Manufacturing and Design Air until his retirement in 1994. On June 21, 1980, Randy married Mary Lenzner in Manitowoc. Randy was a member of the Pigeon Lake Sportsman Club and long-time President of the Pigeon Lake Sanitary District. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing, hunting, gardening, camping, riding his UTV and John Deere, boating (mostly on his pontoon boat around the lake), and snowmobiling. Randy was also a handyman and would tackle any task to help others. He was a gifted teacher and took pride educating others on how to make a “Randy”. Above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his family, friends, and “fairly good” dogs.
Survivors include Randy’s wife of 41 years, Mary; seven children, Cindy (Paul) Stephani, Gary (Dorothy) Rosenbauer, Tracie (Tom) Wurm, Jodi (Dale) Hibbard, Jennifer (Mike) Hablewitz, Rachel (Mike) Huesemann, and Emily (Ernesto) Achor; 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Marie) Rosenbauer and Vern (Mary) Rosenbauer; sister, Dorris (Paul) Waack; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and an abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Werner and Martha Rosenbauer; and sister, Deloris (Hubert) Dahlke.
In keeping with Randy’s wishes, a celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Meat’s Opera House in St. Nazianz from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
