Members of a construction crew are being given credit for putting out a Tuesday morning fire at a cheese plant in Fond du Lac County.
Firefighters were called to the Saputo Cheese plant in Alto at about 9:15 a-m.
The contractors say they were working on the roof of the plant when the fire started.
They used about 20 fire extinguishers to knock down most of the fire.
The arriving fire crews then removed a few laying of roofing material to deal with hot spots.
No information has been released about damage estimates or any injuries that might have been caused.
