After meeting the first Thursday each month since its inception more than 50 years ago, members of the Manitowoc Unit of the County Fish and Game voted this month to meet on the second Wednesday of each month, effective January 12th.
A news release states the change was made after months of discussion based on conflicts in recent years with other conservation programs and activities on Thursday nights.
They are hopeful the change will increase attendance and convenience. Meetings will continue to be held at Lincoln Park Cabin #1 featuring a speaker, along with lunch and refreshments.
All meetings are free to attend and open to the public.
