A spokesman for Pozorski Hauling and Recycling issued a news release yesterday afternoon regarding scheduled pick-up this morning with the forecast calling for a continuation of high winds for a time this morning.
Mike Pozorski stated they’re asking residential customers to “hold back” their recyclables until next week.
He explained this will prevent your recyclables from being scattered throughout your neighborhoods, as well as potential loss of the recycling bin.
If you can’t wait until next week and have to put those recyclables out for collection today, Pozorski requested that you use clear style plastic bags: one for commingled recycling and a single bag for your paper and cardboard recycling.
Crews will be going through your neighborhood on schedule.
