There were quite a few high school basketball games of local and area interest last night. Starting with non-conference boys play, The Roncalli Jets improved to 7-2 after stomping Random Lake 81-41. The Jets received 60 of those points from just two players, Mitchell Schneider and Chombi Lambert. Meanwhile Valders improved to 8-1 after defeating West De Pere 59-44. The Vikings were led by a 21 point performance by Kyle Tuma. The Jets and Vikings will resume EWC play tomorrow night in Valders. That game can be heard on AM980 WCUB. Lastly Wrightstown beat Ashwaubenon 55-48.
In the Big East Conference, Cedar Grove Belgium topped Reedsville 65-54, Mishicot fell to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 81-59, Kohler edged Oostburg 54-45, and St. Mary Catholic snuck by Ozaukee 69-63.
In girls non-conference action, Denmark handled Kewaunee 66-42, New Holsterin Stomped Reedsville, 62-29, and Sheboygan Lutheran edged Green Bay N-E-W Lutheran 60-52.
