Bail is set at $2000 cash for a 33-year-old Manitowoc man facing multiple charges in connection to two separate thefts from vehicles over the weekend.
Jordon J. Johnson is charged with Resisting an Officer, Obstructing an Officer, Possession of Burglary Tools, two counts of theft from a vehicle, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Two Counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
MPD Officers were approached by two individuals late last Saturday night who wished to report a theft from a vehicle. They said they had Christmas gifts stolen from their vehicle and authorities said they had recognized Johnson through previous incidents.
He was located several hours later and taken into custody without further incident. Conditions of bail are that he has “no contact” with the victims or MacArthur Street in Manitowoc. He remains in The County Jail and is due back in court for an Initial appearance on December 28th at 8:30 AM.
