The Calumet County Sheriff’s Department has identified the human remains located in High Cliff State Park this fall as those of Starkie L. Swenson of Neenah.
Sheriff Mark Wiegert says Mr. Swenson’s remains were discovered on September 29th by two hikers accessing the trails of the park.
Mr. Swenson, who was born in 1916, was last seen in The City of Neenah in 1983, and John C. Andrews of Chilton was convicted of charges related to Swenson’s death.
The investigation of this case has been turned over to The Calumet County District Attorney’s Office.
