A 48-year-old Kewaunee man was taken into custody last Thursday morning following a verbal altercation at a retail business in Luxemburg.
Sheriff Matt Joski says David Riemer has been charged with Disorderly Conduct.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call just before 11 a.m. from a Cellcom customer service stating that a male subject (Riemer) had made threats of violence involving a weapon towards those in the store at the time.
While Officers were en route, Riemer left in a vehicle and was located and taken into custody shortly thereafter without further incident.
No weapon was ever displayed, and no one was injured.
Law Enforcement Agencies assisting the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office were Kewaunee and Algoma Police Departments and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
