Manitowoc County’s County Executive will be running for re-election in April.
Bob Ziegelbauer issued a release today announcing that he will run for another four-year term.
It would be the fifth term for the veteran executive, who has served in the post since 2006. Prior to being County Executive, he represented the area in the Wisconsin Assembly.
Ziegelbauer says his goal is to continue the positive momentum the county has reached on several fronts.
He pointed to holding the line on county property taxes for several years and having low debt with substantial surpluses in the past few years. He said the county’s staff is excellent and up to date.
