Prevent Suicide Manitowoc County, in partnership with the Manitowoc County Extension, has planned four Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training sessions for this year.
The one-hour evidence-based training sessions teach participants how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, teach how to offer hope, and provide resources to help save a life.
The sessions will be held on Zoom on the first Tuesday of February, March, April, and May, and will run from noon until 1:00 PM.
These are a part of Prevent Suicide Manitowoc County’s goal to train 5,000 adults in QPR by 2025.
