The Manitowoc Senior Center has announced several events coming up in February. Here are the February events given to us by Katelin Dorow at the Senior Center.
Cardio Drumming: Begins February 1, 2022
Cardio Drumming at the Manitowoc Senior Center is BACK! Join instructor Joyce on Tuesday’sat 9:00 am for some fun cardio! Cardio Drumming will be apart of our members punch cardprogram. Non – members will need to have a valid day or week pass and pay a $2.00 drop in feeto participate in this class. The first class on February 1st will be a 30-minute demo and trial freeto all members, non-members will still need to have a valid day or week pass. Valentine’s Day Mystery Bus Trip: Tuesday, February 8
Join the Manitowoc Senior Center on a Valentine’s Day Mystery Bus Trip on February 8th! Finda date or go on a solo adventure! Collect clues as you tour the mystery location and solve thepuzzle to get a prize! There will be a wonderful lunch as well as a stop for Valentine’s treat,included on this fun filled day! The trip will depart the Manitowoc Senior Center at 9:30 am(please arrive to the center at 9:00 am) and will arrive back in Manitowoc at 3:00 pm.Registration is now open for members and non-members and will close on January 28th. Valentine’s Day Party: Monday, February 14
Join the Manitowoc Senior Center for a Valentine’s Day Celebration! Our Valentine’s day partywill be on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm. We will begin with a sign along with our very own Silver Memories Choir. We will then enjoy cake, coffee, and punch! We will round out ourday with Valentine’s Bingo sponsored by Anthem, there will be special bingo prizes each game!Tickets are now on sale until February 4th – Members $5.00, Non-Members $7.00. POA, Wills, Probates, and Estates: Tuesday, February 15
Join us at the Manitowoc Senior Center on February 15th at 11:00 am for a presentation byThomas Griesbach of Steimle and Birschbach, LLC. Thomas will answer the following questions: What are DPOA’s and HCOPA’s? Why are they needed and when are they needed? How does the DPOA assist me during my lifetime? Why is a HCPOA important to my family members? What does a will do for me? What does a will NOT include? How can I properly plan to avoid probate proceedings?
