Local organizers of the American Heart Association fundraiser, Heart-A-Rama, say their 50th-anniversary show is on for this spring.
“Heart-A-Rama Strikes Gold” is the theme and the shows will take place at the J.E. Hamilton Community House in Two Rivers April 28th through the 30th and again May 5th through the 7th.
Ticket purchase or ticket exchange information for “Heart-A-Rama Strikes Gold” will be released in the very near future.
Meanwhile, Auditions for the comedy/variety show will occur at 7 pm Wednesday, February 16th in the Behringer Room of the Community House, and again at 1 pm Sunday, February 20th in the Koska Room at the Community House for anyone who is at least 21-years old.
Cast members have to be available for all scheduled rehearsals on April 24th and 25th, and performances.
Heart-A-Rama has generated more than $2.9 million in 49 years for the AHA, along with donations of automated external defibrillators (AED’s) to local nonprofit organizations.
They hope to reach the $3 million mark this year.
