Authorities are asking for the public’s help for any information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in an Attempted Homicide yesterday afternoon in the area of Westfield Park in Manitowoc.
Manitowoc Police Captain Peter McGinty says multiple African American males engaged in a physical altercation that concluded when both sides discharged firearms at one another in the area of the park in the 700 block of South 18th Street about 2:30 p.m.
Video revealed multiple suspects and vehicles fleeing after shots were fired. One suspect has been taken into custody and the others remain at large.
