Bail is set at $25,000 cash for an 18-year-old Manitowoc man in connection to a weekend shooting on the city’s southside. Jordan Anthony Roberson is charged with Reckless Endangerment with Use of a Dangerous Weapon and Felony Bail Jumping.
Officers responded to a residence Sunday afternoon in the 700 block of South 16th Street near Westfield Park. Police say surveillance video shows a Nissan Ultima flee the scene after the shooting leading them to Roberson, who was taken into custody. His mother was on record telling officers that her son admitted to being involved, claiming that he was shot at first. The lone condition of bail is that Roberson does not possess any dangerous weapons. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for February 14th at 1:30 p.m.
