Some severe winter weather has intensified the Red Cross blood crisis, but you can help.
There are two blood donation opportunities in the Manitowoc community over the last half of February.
The first is coming up later today (February 17th) at Grace Lutheran Church at 2426 North Rapids Road, between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 p.m.
Another blood drive is set for Monday, February 28th at Shoreline Credit Union (4400 Calumet Avenue) from noon to 4:00 p.m.
You can make an appointment by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App or by visiting RedCrossBlood.org.
All who come to give much-needed blood or platelets between now and the end of this month will receive an Amazon Gift Card by email.
