A convention featuring over 400 game players from throughout the Midwest will be held in Manitowoc from Friday morning through Sunday evening.
The Fire & Ice Convention will be held at Manitowoc’s Holiday Inn at 4601 Calumet Ave. While masks are not required, they are encouraged.
The convention will require all attendees to provide proof of vaccination at the time of registration before receiving a badge.
From 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, attendees can expect board, card, miniature and role-playing games. It also will host a silent auction, prize drawings and tournaments.

From well-known favorites like Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride to lesser-played games like Cave Troll and Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, a wide variety of games will be available to play.
Attendance prices range from $17 and $12 for daily passes, to as high as $45 for a three-day package including a t-shirt and prize tickets. Children aged 5 – 12 can enter for $5 per day.
