Effective February 28th (this Monday), The Circuit Courts of Manitowoc County will no longer require the use of face coverings, although they will recommend their use for those who are not fully vaccinated.
A news release states that the modification was made with information provided by The County Health Department, showing rapidly declining positive test results for COVID 19, along with the easing of hospitalization rates and the widespread availability of vaccines.
Any participating in court proceedings experiencing COVID 19 symptoms should promptly notify their attorney and/or the court who may authorize the use of Zoom or the telephone whenever possible. Masks will remain available in each courtroom and in the Clerk of Courts’ Office.
