No one was injured and nothing was found on the scene following a search of Roncalli High School yesterday for a reported bomb threat.
Lt. Mark Schroeder of the Manitowoc Police Department says officers and Detectives were dispatched to the local private school about 11:35 a.m. after an unknown party had contacted the Manitowoc Fire Department with the threat that was immediately relayed to dispatch and school Administration.
The school was safely evacuated and once the school was empty, assistance was requested from Green Bay Police and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department bomb-sniffing K-9 units.
No unusual objects were located during a thorough search of the school.
It’s believed the suspect was not from the area and the investigation continues
