A Sheboygan man is facing charges after he allegedly stole an unmarked FBI trailer.
It is being reported that the trailer was taken from a location being called a “covert FBI off-site location in Cudahy.”
Roughly a week after the suspect, later identified as Erik Schell, hooked the trailer up to his SUV, he was spotted engaging in a drug transaction.
The FBI agent in Milwaukee began to chase Schell, but he was able to get away.
However, the agent was able to get his license plate number and trace him back to Sheboygan.
Agents later investigated Schell’s residence, located his SUV, and found him smoking what was believed to be crack cocaine while hiding behind several boxes.
There was evidence found in his residence that linked Schell to the theft of the trailer, however, the trailer has yet to be located.
At this time it does not appear as though any charges have been officially filed.
