Bail was set at $500 cash Friday for a 60-year-old Manitowoc man facing several charges after he was found asleep in his truck on the city’s southside.
Dave M. Partlow is charged with Possession of Cocaine, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Felony Bail Jumping and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
A city OWI citation for Operating While Intoxicated was also issued.
Police received a call about a truck being parked near South 17th and Franklin Street for several hours. As officers approached, they found Partlow asleep in the driver’s seat.
He was somewhat disoriented when he woke up with officers noticing the odor of marijuana coming from his truck.
A subsequent search uncovered the drugs and paraphernalia and Partlow was taken to the County Jail.
Bail has been posted with the lone condition being that he maintains “absolute sobriety” with his initial appearance scheduled for Monday at 1:30 p.m.
