Many folks prefer pancakes and sausage for dinner over a burger, or even eggs and hash browns on their pizza instead of ham and pineapple. Breakfast fans are invited to help the Two Rivers Senior Center with a special fundraiser this week.
‘Breakfast for Dinner’ will be offered tomorrow, April 13 at the senior center on 1520 17th Street. All orders are set to be placed on a walk-in basis, with no pre-orders.
Each order will also be entered to win a yet-to-be-named door prize.
On the menu is breakfast pizza, featuring pepperoni, sausage, bacon, eggs, cheese and hash browns at $5. Pancakes are $1, bacon is $0.50, sausage is $0.50, a cup of fruit is $0.50 and apple juice is $0.50.
Each item is served a la carte, so all who attend will be able to order as much or as little as they want with proceeds directly benefiting the Two Rivers Senior Center.
All funds raised will help the center continue their mission to provide an lifestyle for seniors in the community through diversified volunteer opportunities, advocacy for adults, programming for health, recreation, education and community affairs.
Breakfast for Dinner begins on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., lasting until 6:00 p.m. More information can be found at TwoRiversSeniors.org.
