A fire at a Sheboygan plastics plant last week resulted in major damage.
The fire at Plenco Plastics Engineering Company located on North Avenue was called in at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
When crews arrived, they learned the fire was located on the northeast corner of the roof having originated in a dust collector.
Several smaller fires also started due to the embers being blown around in the wind.
The small fires were quickly extinguished, and the main fire was out in about half an hour.
The fire caused an estimated $500,000 in damage, with one employee being treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
