Valders High Graduate Luke Goedeke reportedly had a pre-draft visit with the Green Bay Packers.
The 6’ 5” 312-pound Goedeke began his collegiate career with UW-Stevens Point but transferred to Central Michigan University, where he blossomed into one of the best offensive tackles in the Mid-American Conference.
Luke started 24 games for the Chippewas at right tackle earning first-team All-Conference honors this past season.
The Whitelaw native really got the attention of scouts at the scouting combine in Indianapolis by successfully completing 26 bench press reps and 27 more on the Chippewas pro day.
Goedeke is currently projected to be a 3rd or 4th round pick in the NFL Draft that will be held April 28th thru 30th in Las Vegas.
