The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department has released the identities of the two victims killed in a multi-vehicle crash over the weekend as Dorothy L. Friede of Adell and Betty Seibel of Saint Cloud.
Authorities responded to the crash on State Highway 57 and County Highway MM in the town of Rhine at around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a northbound vehicle crossed the centerline, striking a southbound unit head-on.
It’s still not clear how many people were in each vehicle, but it’s confirmed that Friede and Seibel were in separate vehicles during the original crash and passed away.
No other information is being released at this time. The accident remains under investigation by the State Patrol.
