Bail was set at $250 cash for a 30-year-old Manitowoc man accused of trying to gain entrance into a Southside residence over the weekend.
Octavius D. Aron is charged with Obstructing an Officer and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police were made aware through video surveillance that confirmed that a male suspect (Aron) attempted to enter a home in the 200 block of South 26th Street.
Aron left after finding out the door was locked, eventually located by officers walking near the Marathon gas station on Washington Street.
Officers found him to be in possession of a folding knife and fixed blade knife.
After initially giving authorities a false name, Aron was later identified and taken into custody without further incident.
He remains in the County Jail and is due back in court on May 16th at 1:30 for an initial appearance.
