The Sheboygan Fire Department and Hazmat team responded to the Blue Harbor Resort for a reported chemical release just before 12:30 yesterday afternoon
Fire officials say that that two disconnected hoses in the pool filtration room caused chemicals to mix together on the ground, resulting in what was described as noxious odor and fumes.
Chemicals were diluted with water and the affected area was washed down thoroughly Crews were on scene for approximately 4 hours and no injuries were reported.
