Bail is set at $750 cash for a 53-year-old Manitowoc man charged with his 6th OWI Offense over the weekend.
Court records also indicate that Jesse J. Madden was cited for Operating While Revoked, Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle.
Police responded to a citizen call late Sunday night of a vehicle driving erratically on Hamilton Street, which nearly hit a vehicle parked on the corner of Hamilton and South 15th Streets.
Madden told officers, allegedly with a beer in his hand, that he had consumed two beers and that he was going to pick up his girlfriend from a bar.
Following a field sobriety test and a blood draw at a local hospital, Madden was taken into custody.
Conditions of bail are that he is to not drive a motor vehicle and maintain absolute sobriety.
Madden remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for May 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
